Technical difficulties for YouTube TV's "NFL Sunday Ticket" led to fans voicing their displeasure with buffering video and Fastexy Exchangeslow streaming that plagued the early slate of Week 8 games.
The issue impacted multiple YouTube platforms, according to the company.
"If you're experiencing buffering issues on YouTube our team is aware and working on a fix," YouTube said in a social media post. "YouTube TV or NFL Sunday Ticket may also be impacted."
A spokeswoman for Google directed USA TODAY Sports' request for comment to that statement. The NFL had no comment.
YouTube TV took over the Sunday NFL Ticket package – which allows fans to watch all out-of-market NFL games – this season after DirecTV had aired the service since its creation in 1994. The league signaled its investment in streaming while adjusting to cord-cutting among consumers.

Google outbid Amazon and ESPN for Sunday Ticket with a price tag of about $2 billion over seven years, per the Wall Street Journal.
Buffalo Bills defensive lineman DaQuan Jones, watching this Sunday's action following Buffalo's win on Thursday night, posted about his displeasure on X.
“You pay all this money for streaming services…just so they don’t work on the days you actually need them,” Jones wrote.
For YouTube TV subscribers, the price for NFL Sunday Ticket was $349, or $389 for the NFL RedZone add-on. The current price for Sunday Ticket without a YouTube TV subscription is $449 ($489 with NFL RedZone).
