Drew Barrymore is ready for her next love story.
While the Never Been Kissed star has been "happily" single for seven years following her split with husband Will Kopelman, she shared how Taylor Swift's NFL outings with Travis Kelce are inspiring her to score in her own dating life.
"Seeing her on that first date," Drew explained on the Oct. 23 episode of her eponymous talk show, "out there in the box with his family, I really had a very big Oprah 'aha' moment."
In fact, the host was especially struck by how "normal" it felt to watch the pop star proudly cheer on her lover at his football games.
"Obviously, Taylor Swift is everything but normal," the 48-year-old continued, "but it was just like, 'I'm a female. I'm going to go out on a date with a male. I'm not gonna overthink this. I'm not gonna play the dark horse and be secretive and weird about it.'"
As Drew put it, "She just went on a date. And it made me think, 'I could just go out on a date.'"
The 50 First Dates star explained why the singer's romance with the Kansas City Chiefs football player opened her eyes on the best way to be a new romantic as a celebrity.
"This was evidence of not being affected by what other people think or having herself stop herself," she added. "It was so calm and confident and normal that it just made me think, 'I should do this, too.' And I thank her for that."
Drew recently started dating again following her marriages to Jeremy Thomas from 1994 to 1995, to Tom Green from 2001 to 2002 and to Will from 2012 to 2016.
But encouraging her to get back out there is not the only way Taylor has impressed Drew recently. The E.T. actress—who shares kids Olive, 11, and Frankie, 9, with Will—also witnessed Taylor's positive influence on young fans while taking her daughter to the Eras Tour movie.
"Everyone in the theater was dressed up and dancing around," she recalled. "It was not your garden variety moviegoing experience. And there's something about this human being that's like kind of pushing people to like express themselves in a very joyous, positive way."
And when she's not rocking stadiums during her tour, Taylor is igniting the energy from the stands. Relive the Grammy winner's most recent NFL outing in photos:
