With the all-time NCAA women's scoring record firmly in her sights, Iowa's Caitlin Clark is poised to make history on Thursday when the Hawkeyes (22-3 overall, 11-2 in the Big Ten) host conference foe Michigan (16-9, 7-6).
Clark is just eight points away from breaking the women's NCAA career scoring record of 3,527 points, held by Washington's Kelsey Plum.
Clark tallied 31 points in an 82-79 upset loss at Nebraska on Sunday, which is just about on her season average of 32.2 points per game. She had a decent chance to break the record in the game, but was held scoreless in the fourth quarter for the first time in her career.
